AB The editorial to the thematic block of articles on film adaptations of literary works briefly defines the issue and characterizes the individual contributions. The aim of the collection of texts is to present the current impulses of the theory of film adaptation and to offer new topics for the debate on the ubiquitous intermedia phenomenon.
