AB  - The author analyses one of the cases of international cooperation between the Czechoslovak studio Barrandov and the East German studio DEFA during the filming of the musical ice show Strašná žena. Using this specific example and archival materials, he reveals the motives and goals of the co-productions, as well as the background of DEFA in the 1965-1966 season in the context of the contemporary political developments.
