AB The study deals with the star image of the actress Olga Schoberova in the specific conditions of socialist Czechoslovakia between 1963 and 1970. Schoberova represented a unique type of star combining typical features of Western film stardom with specific Czech features in the context of political and social changes in Czechoslovakia in the late 1960s.
