AB The article presents sources of financing of contemporary Czech feature films and explores how filmmakers evaluate these sources. It follows the study of film development of Czech feature films by Petr Szczepanik published in 2015 and extends it by analysis of all sources, including those that have not been previously mentioned, especially sponsorship and crowdfunding. Individual sources are evaluated according to their suitability for those filmmakers who focus on the production of art house films on the one hand and those who focus on the production of more commercially oriented ones on the other.
