The New Laokoon: A fusion of artistic means, explored through the example of sound film
The impetus for the research study came from the author's recurring dislike of spoken audio film. Using a sample of films, he examines the peculiarities of different artistic means and their hierarchy in a work of art, the possible advantages and limitations of film dialogue, the contrast with silent film, etc. Translated by Hermina Marxová.
