Hollywood's Past and Present on DVD: Differentiation of Products, Diversification of Appeal

Brief content of the dissertation Hollywood film on DVD: product differentiation, diversification of address. The first part is devoted to the establishment of the new DVD market and its strategy. Then the author focuses on the tendency towards differentiation and its impact on editions with contemporary Hollywood productions. The third part traces the ways in which older Hollywood films are contextualized on DVD.
