The Truth of Symptoms: Characters in the Films of Stanislav Barabáš and Martin Hollý

The paper follows two basic ideas: on the one hand, it focuses on the symptoms of the characters, or their interpretation by the actor; on the other hand, it deals with the changes that separate the overall concept of the character in the films of the first half of the 1960s from the concepts of the 1950s, especially in the films of directors Stanislav Barabás and Martin Hollý.
